  1. Multiple backdoors found in D-Link DMR-932 LTE router

Security researcher Pierre Kim has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in the D-Link DWR-932B router. D-Link DWR-932B LTE router is allegedly vulnerable to over 20 issues, including backdoor accounts, default credentials, leaky credentials, firmware upgrade vulnerabilities and insecure UPnP (Universal Plug-and-Play) configuration. If successfully exploited, these vulnerabilities could allow attackers to remotely hijack and control your router, as well as network, leaving all connected devices vulnerable to man-in-the-middle and DNS poisoning attacks. Also hacker are able to launch distributed denial of service attack through your router.

Cyber Security Tips: Users need to wait for new firmware upgrade, temporary mitigation for user is to improve their cyber security with firewall, Intrusion detection and prevention system.

  1. Hackers Steal 3,000 Pictures from iCloud of Pippa Middleton

Philippa Charlotte “Pippa” Middleton is an English socialite, author, and columnist. London police have confirmed the arrest of a man, aged 35, who is supposed to have hacked Pippa Middleton’s, Duchess of Cambridge younger sister, iCloud account and stolen 3,000 picture. It is happened due to hacker hacked her iCloud account and stolen around 3,000 pictures includes Pippa Middleton wearing wedding dress and nude pictures of financier James Mathews, who is her fiancé.

Cyber Security Tips: To prevent from such kind of attack use strong passwords to your cloud account, set alert, use two way authentication and always keep backup of your data.
