- Man arrested for ‘hacking’ Facebook and WhatsApp accounts of 15 girls
Pune: Social media is always targeted by hackers. This time total 15 girls are targeted by the hacker from Rajasthan. The cyber cell of Pune city police has arrested a youth from Rajasthan who allegedly hacked the Facebook (FB) and WhatsApp accounts of girls and used them to send obscene messages. The suspect person named as Diptesh Prakshji Salecha (23), a resident of Pachpadara taluka in Barmer district of Rajasthan. According to the cyber cell, a girl from Kondhwa filed a complaint that she received a message on FB from her friend’s FB account messenger after she had uploaded the WhatsApp application on her cell phone number on March 10, 2017. He then started chatting with the girls who accepted his friend request. He further managed to get their WhatsApp numbers and by hacking them, he entered in the WhatsApp groups of these girls according to news published by Indian express.

Another victim is TV actress Sehrish Ali, who is known for her in Diya Aur Baati Hum and is currently seen in Dil Bole Oberoi. She has harassed by the person named Ryaan Ali. The hack began when Sehrish received a call from a man named Ryaan Ali and that person approached her for a few event appearances in India and Dubai. According to the report, the man contacted her on social media asking her email ID to discuss the details of the remuneration and she also shared her verification code with the man. The next thing she knew was that her Snapchat was hacked and the hacker not only began contacting her female friends but also downloaded their ‘skimpily-dressed’ images and blackmailed them according to news published by ABP news.

OurMine Security Group is a hacker group. Previously OurMine had targeted various famous peoples as well as organizations. OurMine is back again and this time the target is YouTube. The biggest hack in the history of YouTube. Hundreds of popular YouTube channels were compromised today. As per reports, OurMine group hacked hundreds of Youtube channels. Videos of the channels which were hacked displayed a hashtag #Ourmine as the title and the description of each video was changed to “Hey, it’s OurMine, don’t worry we are just testing your security, please contact us for more information.” It is still unclear as to why the hacking group OurMine perform these hacks. The group is known for using stolen passwords from previous data breaches, including MySpace and LinkedIn according to news published by HackRead.

It is not a first time, previously hackers leaked nude photos of prominent Hollywood celebrities like Amanda Seyfried, Emma Watson, Rhona Mitra, Alyssa Arce, Jillian Murray, Analeigh Tipton, and Iliza Shlesinger. The reason of leaked photos is unknown yet.
