  1. Pakistan government website hacked, Indian national anthem posted

ISLAMABAD/NEW DELHI: The Pakistan government website was reportedly hacked briefly by unknown hackers and posted the Indian national anthem and Independence Day greetings on the web page. According to news published by Times of India, the website — — at around 1500 hours IST displayed a message showing “Hacked by Ne0-h4ck3r”. The greetings’ headline read “15 August, Happy Independence Day”. The message posted thereafter read “Freedom in the Mind, Faith in the words…Pride in our Souls…Let’s salute those great men, who made this possible”. The message was followed by the Indian national anthem “Jana gana Mana.”

Cyber Security Tips: To prevent from web site hacking you are strongly recommended that keep your CMS up-to date, keep your plugins updated, check input validation, keep your servers up-to date, implement web application firewall and do vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
